Terms & Conditions

My Healing Medical Massage Therapy

At My Healing Medical Massage Therapy, our policies ensure a professional and comfortable experience. By using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By booking a treatment or purchasing a membership package from My Healing Medical Massage Therapy ("My Healing", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

My Healing is operated by Zandri Stiff, a certified massage therapist based in Gordon's Bay, Western Cape, South Africa.

2 Bookings & Intake Form

2.1 How to Book
Bookings can be made via our website, phone (+27 82 446 8902), WhatsApp, or email (NoPain@MyHealing.co.za). All treatments are by appointment only.

2.2 Intake & Treatment Form (Required)
First-time clients must complete an online Intake & Treatment Form before their appointment. This is a mandatory requirement.

Important: If the form is completed on the day of your appointment, it counts as part of your treatment time. To maximise your session, please complete the form in advance. Complete the form here →

2.3 Payment to Confirm
Payment is required to confirm your appointment. Visit our Pricing Page for current rates and package options.

3 Treatment Duration & Pricing

3.1 Standard Session
Treatments are normally 60 minutes in duration.

3.2 Extended Sessions
At the client's request, sessions may continue beyond 60 minutes. However, treatments will not exceed 2 hours to ensure client safety and prevent over-treatment.

3.3 Extended Session Pricing

Up to 60 minutes 1 hour (standard rate)
60–90 minutes 1.5 hours
Over 90 minutes 2 hours (maximum)

3.4 Payment Methods

  • EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) — banking details provided upon booking
  • Card payment at your session

Proof of EFT payment should be emailed to admin@myhealing.co.za prior to your appointment.

4 Cancellations & No-Shows

4.1 Cancellation Notice
Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours in advance. Weekends do not count toward the notice period (i.e., if your appointment is Monday morning, you must cancel by Friday).

4.2 Late Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 6 hours' notice will incur the full session fee. For membership packages, the session will be deducted.

4.3 No-Shows
Clients who do not attend their appointment without notice will not be entitled to a refund. For membership packages, the session will be deducted.

Note: We understand emergencies happen. Please communicate with us as early as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

5 Arrival & Professional Conduct

5.1 Arrival Time
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment to allow time for preparation. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session.

5.2 Dress Code
Clients may disrobe to their comfort level for treatment. However, underwear must remain on at all times during the session.

5.3 Professional Boundaries

Zero Tolerance: Any unprofessional, inappropriate, or disrespectful behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session without refund. My Healing reserves the right to refuse future bookings from any client who violates this policy.

6 Health & Safety

6.1 Hygiene Standards
We maintain high personal hygiene standards and expect the same from our clients. Please arrive clean and freshly showered where possible.

6.2 Medical Disclosure
Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, and health concerns prior to treatment. See our Medical Disclaimer for full details.

6.3 Infectious Illness
If you are unwell with a contagious condition (flu, cold, COVID-19, skin infection, etc.), please reschedule your appointment. We will not charge a cancellation fee for illness.

6.4 Minors (Under 18)
Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will:

  • Remain present in the room during the entire session
  • Complete and sign the Intake & Treatment Form on behalf of the minor

7 7-Day Money Back Guarantee

We offer a 7-day money back guarantee on single treatments under the following conditions:

  • If you do not experience major improvement within 7 days of your treatment, contact us to request a refund.
  • Refunds are issued in full, no questions asked.
  • The guarantee applies to single treatments only, not membership packages.
  • You must have disclosed all relevant medical conditions prior to treatment.
  • Refund requests made after 7 days will not be honoured.

Note: The guarantee does not apply if undisclosed medical conditions affected treatment outcomes.

8 Membership Packages

8.1 No Refunds on Packages
Membership packages are non-refundable once purchased. The 7-day money back guarantee does not apply to package purchases.

8.2 Validity Periods
All packages have a validity period that begins from your first session, not the purchase date. Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period and cannot be carried forward.

Gold 48 24 months

8.3 Transferability & Sharing
Membership packages can be transferred to or shared with family, friends, and loved ones. All sessions must be used within the validity period regardless of who uses them.

9 Home Visits

Home visits are available throughout Gordon's Bay, Somerset West, Strand, and the greater Cape Town region.

  • An additional travel fee applies based on your location.
  • Travel fees will be quoted at the time of booking.
  • Home visit bookings require confirmed payment before the appointment.

10 Confidentiality & Privacy

All client information is treated as strictly confidential. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

  • Personal and medical information is collected solely to provide treatment and is kept confidential.
  • We do not share your information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

11 Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide effective pain relief and wellness services, individual results may vary. Massage therapy is not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or medications prescribed by a licensed healthcare professional.

My Healing shall not be held liable for:

  • Any injury or adverse effects resulting from non-disclosure of relevant medical conditions.
  • Outcomes that do not meet client expectations where treatment was performed correctly.
  • Any pre-existing conditions that are aggravated without prior disclosure.

12 Amendments

My Healing reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
